Pentair OMNIFilter U25 Whole House Water Filtration System

The OMNIFilter's U25 10" whole house valve-in-head water filter system is designed for average-sized homes with 3/4" incoming water lines, making it suitable for both well water and city water applications. The valve-in-head feature allows you to turn off the incoming water supply when changing the cartridges. The clear housing enables you to see your filter working and provides an indication of when to change the cartridge. The system easily attaches to any 3/4" incoming water line to filter water for the entire house.

The system comes supplied with a 5-micron TO1 sediment/taste and odor cartridge to handle water with sediment, tastes, and odors. However, you can customize the filtration requirements by using any number of OMNIFilter cartridges.

To prevent leaks, it is important to ensure that the rubber o-ring is properly seated in the groove above the threads of the housing. Lubricate the o-ring with clean silicone, insert it into the groove, and smooth it into place with your finger. Screw the bottom of the housing onto the cap and hand-tighten it. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.

The built-in two-position shut-off valve in the filter cap allows for easy cartridge exchange without turning off the main water supply. The clear housing shows the system working, and you can see when it's time to change the cartridge.

The complete filter system includes a clear sump housing with a built-in two-position shut-off valve, a T01 carbon filter cartridge, an OW40 wrench, and a U2530 mounting bracket with screws.

The OMNIFilter TO1 cartridge has a capacity of 15,000 gallons and should be replaced every 3 months or when you notice a drop in water pressure or water quality.
