The Pentair OMNIFilter RS24 Sediment Water Filter is an economical sediment filtration solution for the whole house. This 10-inch, whole-house heavy-duty string-wound replacement cartridge is designed to reduce sediment, sand, dirt, and rust particles down to 25 microns in chlorinated or non-chlorinated water supplies.

The filter is specifically designed to work best with OMNIFilter BF7, BF9C, BF35, and BF36C heavy-duty filter housings. It fits all 10-inch heavy-duty filter housings and can replace any 10-inch by 4.5-inch sediment filter cartridge.

Manufactured from a durable polypropylene string, the filter is precision-wound around a rigid polypropylene core, providing higher dirt-loading capacity and greater efficiency than standard wound cartridges. This construction allows the filter to have a 30,000-gallon capacity, making it a cost-effective solution for whole-house sediment filtration.

To ensure optimal performance, it is recommended to replace the filter every 6 months or when a drop in water pressure or water quality is noticed.
