Pentair OMNIFilter GAC1 Carbon Water Filter, Under Sink Granular Activated Carbon Replacement Cartridge

The OMNIFilter GAC1 cartridges are designed to effectively reduce unwanted tastes and odors, including chlorine taste and odor, from your drinking water. The construction of the cartridge allows maximum contact between the water and the carbon, ensuring optimal adsorption. Water enters the cartridge at one end and passes through the entire length of the carbon bed before exiting the other end, while an internal expansion pad minimizes channeling or bypass. Before the water exits the cartridge, a post-filter helps reduce carbon fines and other suspended particles from the filtered water. The post-filter is permanently fastened to an innovative support basket, ensuring it is firmly secured and eliminating any potential for bypass.

These cartridges are designed to effectively reduce unwanted tastes and odors, including chlorine taste and odor, for great-tasting drinking water. They fit all 10" standard housings and can replace any 10" x 2.5" carbon filter. The cartridges reduce coarse sediment, rust particles, and chlorine taste and odor down to 20 microns.

The OMNIFilter GAC1 cartridges are designed to be used in under-sink drinking water filter systems on both city and well water supplies. They can be used on chlorinated or non-chlorinated water. Each cartridge has a capacity of 2,000 gallons and should be replaced every 3 months or when you notice a drop in water pressure or water quality.
